Fontaine Eva - I have green algae on the top of my trash can or in my filter cartridge. What should I do?

These are microscopic, non-toxic algae caused by exposing your fountain to direct light. To avoid this photosynthesis phenomenon, you can buy our oeko tex fabric covers (handmade) to protect your Eva fountain or move it to a shaded place. You will also need to clean the mineral basket (see page 17 of the booklet) and order a new filtration cartridge.
