Berkey® — Warranty conditions
All products supplied by the company Sarl Monderma benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by article L. 217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code, as well as the warranty against hidden defects provided for in article 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.

The warranty period begins on date of receipt of the product by the original purchaser.
General conditions
- Guarantee applicable against all defect in material or workmanship under normal use.
- In the event of non-compliance, the product may be returned, exchanged or refunded.
- Any complaint requires a prior approval from after-sales service Sarl Monderma.
- The guarantee is strictly personal : it only applies to the original buyer and is not transferable.
- The buyer is responsible for routine maintenance and replacement of wearing parts.
- Sarl Monderma cannot be held responsible for indirect or incidental damages resulting from improper use, abuse, accident or negligence.
Causes for voiding the warranty
The following actions automatically void warranty coverage:
- Leave one of the Berkey® filter elements freeze.
- Use water from a dehumidifier with Black Berkey® elements for everyday use.
- Breaking or damaging a Berkey® element following fall.
- Cause a failure following a poor assembly or poor maintenance.
- Transport the system without removing the Black Berkey® filters beforehand, causing the stems to break.
- Make a red color test with PF-2® filters connected. PF-2® filters must be removed before this test.
- Use water from a salt softener, likely to clog the elements or cause rust to the stainless steel.
- Do not use the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions.

- Reference and order date
- First and last name
- Reason for complaint
- After validation, Sarl Monderma will communicate to you the return terms and will email you a shipping label.
- Returns are supported free of charge during the entire warranty period.
