Our story
Founded in 2014 under the company name Monderma Cosmetics SARL — a name from our origins in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry — our company gradually pivoted to gravity water filtration, believing that health begins with what you drink.
Launch of Monderma Cosmétiques SARL by J.-M. P., with his experience in the pharmaceutical sector. The initials JMP are the origin of the name Monderma. From the start, health and product quality are at the heart of the approach.
Discovery and distribution of EVA filter fountains, the first gravity filtration systems offered to our customers. A conviction is born: gravity filtration is the simplest, safest and most ecological solution for accessing pure water.
Integration of Berkey® systems into our catalog. Berkey® is quickly establishing itself as the world reference in gravity filtration. We become an official authorized reseller for France and the European Union.
Creation of our own filtration range under the brand Monderma®, designed to offer a high-performance alternative to existing systems. Strategic partnership with Coldstream (UK) for their FTO+ filters, NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and P231 certified.
Culmination of several years of development: launch of filters Imperial AMB and GF, made in the USA to our specifications. A major step towards complete control of our filtration chain.
The Founder
Coming from the pharmaceutical industry, I founded Monderma Cosmétiques SARL in 2014 with a simple conviction: health begins with what you drink. After discovering EVA fountains, then distributing Berkey® systems in 2020, I launched our own Monderma® brand in 2022 in partnership with Coldstream. In 2026, we are taking a new step with our Imperial AMB & GF filters, made in the United States. Gravity Fountain is the commercial name of our online store — a reflection of our specialty and our commitment to pure, natural water accessible to all.
