For almost two years, a administrative arrest order (SSURO) imposed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has limited the operations of Berkey International in the United States, impacting the distribution of certain products.
Recently, Berkey management met with DOJ (US Department of Justice) and the new director of theEPA – Region 8. These exchanges were productive and the brand anticipates a favorable outcome with a hoped-for resolution in August. This could mean the lifting of SSURO or require a few more negotiation steps.
