The presence and concentrations of these chemical contaminants depend on several factors, including the types of swimming pools, the types of disinfectants used, the dosages of disinfectants, the number of swimmers, the temperature and pH of the swimming pool water.

In conclusion, the position of New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. about chlorine in a water source is that, according to test data, the Black Berkey purification element ® appears to reduce over 99.9% of chlorine. That being said, we believe the items will eliminate a chlorine threat given the facts of the test data. However, we do not recommend drinking pool water for regular consumption as it may contain additional contaminants or chemicals other than chlorine that may or may not have been previously tested by our extensive catalog of independent third-party testing.
