Fontaine Eva - How do I clean my ceramic?
Your ceramic has a yellowish, brownish tint or black spots.
Eva ceramic will not always stay white, as it acts as a microbacterial barrier and traps impurities potentially present in your water such as rust, lead and sediment. This phenomenon is completely normal.
To maintain the performance of your ceramic, it is recommended to clean it once a month, as indicated on page 17 of the booklet.
We recommend cleaning your Eva ceramic once a month. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Take the upper tray where the ceramic is located, but do not remove it from the tray.
- Place your bin in a clean sink without blocking the drain.
- Pour tap water into the tray as well as a glass of white vinegar.
- Let the water drain, then add only tap water again and let that drain as well.
- Repeat this operation twice.
This will ensure that your Eva ceramic works optimally and maintain the quality of the water you consume.
