Gravity Water Filtration - How it Works

The system of gravity filtration is a type of filtration system used to purify water. This system uses gravity to pass water through different successive filters to remove impurities and contaminants. The gravity filtration system is generally composed of several tanks or bins arranged in series. The first tank contains the water to be treated, which is then pumped or poured into the second tank, where it passes through a filter to remove suspended particles. Lfiltered water is then routed to the third tank, where it passes through another filter to remove microorganisms, bacteria and other contaminants. This process can be repeated several times until the water is clean enough to use or store. Gravity filtration system is often used for purify rainwater or spring water before making it drinkable or using it for domestic purposes.
