THE Big Berkey® is the ideal gravity filtration system for a family of 1 to 4 people. Robust, autonomous and elegant, it works without electricity and can be installed in a few minutes, indoors or outdoors.

This version is equipped with 2 Coldstream FTO+ filters, one of the best filters in the world, made in England and backed by very strict independent testing.

✔ Coldstream FTO+ filters: cutting-edge technology

FTO+ filters combine medical grade ceramic with compacted activated carbon, enriched with colloidal silver. Their dual-action structure allows extremely fine filtration, with exceptional retention of contaminants:

• Viruses, bacteria, cysts, parasites
• PFAS, pesticides, herbicides
• Heavy metals: lead, arsenic, mercury, etc.
• Drug residues and hormones
• Chemical compounds: chlorine, VOCs, hydrocarbons
• Microplastics, sediments, rust

Tests carried out by European laboratories show that FTO+ filters meet numerous standards, including ANSI/NSF 42, 53 and P231. They are compatible with all Berkey® systems and other standard gravity filters.

Lifetime : up to 3000 liters per cartridge (i.e. 6000 liters for 2 filters), depending on the quality of the incoming water.

Directions for use:

Simply pour water into the upper chamber. The water slowly passes through the FTO+ filters and is collected in the lower chamber, ready for consumption. The stainless steel faucet allows for clean and convenient service.

• Approximately 13.3 liters/hour with 2 FTO+ filters
• Up to 26.5 liters/hour with 4 FTO+ filters (optional)
